Rag Doll and Bucky Badger

This past weekend we had a lot planned. The rain ruined our trip to the Pumpkin Patch (next year now) and the Pancake Breakfast at the firestation was cancelled too. Thankfully we still had some other plans too. Caleigh had a fundraiser for cheer...costume bowling, which we attended on Saturday night. I was 3 tickets away from winning the $150 cash jackpot! BOO! Sunday we took Lauren to the Badger Red & White Scrimmage for the Men's Basketball Team.

Today's weather is terrible. Storms, tornado watches, 60mph winds and LOTS of rain. You would think it was the middle of summer.

Lauren showing off some artwork.
She made a cat, spider, ghost and jack-o-lantern (her words) for Halloween.
A little more Halloween decor.

Saturday night, I had to put a hair net on Lauren to hold all her hair in place for her hat/wig.

Love her rag doll makeup.

Ta-da...the full outfit!

Even Uncle Scott had to try on the wig.

Lauren won a prize for Best Costume. 2 gift cards to Chipotle and a treat bag.

With Grandma and Grandpa...love the faces!

Borrowing some accessories from someone else's costume.

Showcasing her singing talents.

Sunday we went to the Kohl Center for the scrimmage.

Lyla enjoying the game.

All the kids covering their ears when the horn went off.
Cheeseball!

Free Shipping Day

Take advantage of Free Shipping Day on December 17, 2010. They are hoping for 1000 vendors to participate and delivery is guaranteed by Christmas Eve. Can't beat that. I always hate paying for shipping.

Big Feet and Pop Flies

Took Lauren outside last night to use her new bat, ball and tee. I have to say, she was quite impressive for her first batting practice.

The girl has some giant feet.

An Entertainer May Be In Her Future

My cousin, Andria, got married on Saturday. Brent and Jason had to decline since they scored luxury box seats to the Badger vs Ohio State game. Ohio State was ranked #1 and Wisconsin beat them! HUGE GAME! Anyway, my parents, Jill, Lyla, Lauren and I went to the wedding. To get the bride and groom to kiss people had to sing a song with "love" in it. Lauren told me she wanted to go up and sing. So she did. She made up her own song and sang it for the more than 200 people there. She even got a few standing ovations. She was so proud and loved it. I think she may want to be an entertainer when she grow up! Eeekkk!

Lauren and her funny faces. My short new hairdo.

Lauren had to dress up as a scarecrow for school. This was the best we could come up with.

She dressed herself. Kind of looks like Minnie Mouse.

Heading to the wedding. Lauren and Lyla all dressed up.
Lauren needs more manners.
