Carousel

This weekend came and went quickly as most do. Middle of September already...wow. Saturday, we invited my brother and Lyla over to have lunch and watch the Badger game since Jill was gone to a wedding.

On Sunday, we decided to take advantage of the nice weather we have been having. About 2 weeks with straight sun and no rain. We decided to hit the zoo and then take Lauren to lunch at Ella's Deli. Ella's is a popular place in Madison. It has great food, ice cream and is decorated with lots of fun and crazy things. They also have a giant carousel outside that you can ride on.

After lunch, she got her ride on the carousel.

We were proud she picked the Wisconsin Badger horse.

We had a great time. We came home and watched football and I worked on getting a bunch of things made for my MIL party in 2 weeks. I will post pictures of those soon too.

FUNNY: Lauren was asking Jason who the 2 teams were on the TV yesterday. It was the Baltimore Ravens and The New Orleans Saints (I think) Anyway, Jas asked who she wanted to win and she said, "Um...the raisins daddy."
