Fantastic Friday All

It has been a crazy couple of weeks. We survived lice....ugh! I really hope we never have to deal with that again, but I know the chances are probably pretty high. We got our A/C fixed...$700 later, but with all the hot and humid weather we have been having, it was a MUST! It is now August...wow...and Lauren's birthday is next week already. How can my baby be turning 4? We have a fun party planned and lots of little celebrations in between. I will have a lot of pictures to share over the next few weeks guaranteed!

July 22, 2010...tornadoes all over our area. This pic was taken out my brother's backdoor.

Lauren was asking every day how many more days till her bday. My solution, a birthday chain. We take one link off every morning and now she can count how many days till her birthday.

I was able to do a little crafting and finally finished my winter felt wreath. 2 down and 2 more to go. Next I want to finish the fall one and then the spring/summer one.

A photo op with papa and Lyla. Notice my poor dad is in a full arm cast. He broke his wrist on July 11th. He is in the full arm cast for 6 weeks, then a short arm cast for 6 weeks and possible surgery after that. He is amazing though....he has been golfing ONE HANDED!

I ordered this for Miss Amelia for her baptism at the end of the month. Jas and I are her godparents.

Speaking of Miss Amelia....here she is 2 months old already!

During our lice epidemic, Lauren and I spent a lot of time playing board games and using our imagination. Here were are pretending to be on the beach.

Having a picnic

The day we lost our A/C, it was about 90 out with HIGH humidity. We let Lauren run through the sprinkler for a bit.

Last night Lauren helped me make a fun dinner. I had found this cute idea on a blog and decided to give it a try. It was a super huge hit.

You make butterflies out of Grands Biscuits and hot dogs. Cut the biscuits in half and use them for the wings. Mix an egg and some water and add food coloring and let your child paint the wings of the butterfly.

Add the hot dogs and bake at 350 for 17-18 minutes. Till biscuits are golden.

Add pretzel antennaes and ketsup faces. Voila!

Lastly, congrats to my aewsome mom who had a hole in one golfing on July 28th! Her second one in her lifetime. Last one was in July of 2000. Way to go mom!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!
