Pottery Barn Kids

Our families always start our Christmas lists early so we can hopefully be done shopping well before Christmas. I got the lists pretty well complete, but then was thinking...oh man what are we and Santa going to get Lauren this year? I have always thought she would get one nice gift from Santa/us and then we would get her a few little things and stocking stuffers. She just turned 3 and I was at a loss.

I was paging through my Pottery Barn Kids catalog the other night...lots of Christmas stuff out already. Seems like everyone is starting early this year. While paging through admiring all the adorable things, I came to a page that SLAPPED me in the face. The perfect gift for my 3 year old daughter who has recently decided that she loves playing "mommy." Yup, the search was over. I decided we/Santa would get her the Chloe doll. I love that they are soft all over, yet can move and be posed.

Chloe has to have some clothes, so I got this as well. I love it!

Now while there are numerous outfits and accessories for these dolls, we all know that Pottery Barn is not the cheapest place. I was dying to get a cute little bed for the doll as well. Then it hit me, my brother in law, Scott, is great at making things. So I emailed my SIL to see what she thought. She was sure that Scott would love to make it. So I sent her the pictures below and told her he can make one like one of these or whatever his heart desires. I love having talented family. Can't wait to see it when it is finished. Of course, this may mean that I will have to make some bedding, but I am up for a challenge.
