Haute Mama Wannabe: Pancakes and Firetrucks

I have a ton of pictures to share from last week and this past weekend. A few pictures at how where I live resembles Alaska now, some pics of a new meal I tried and some from the Pancake Fundraiser we went to at the local firestation.

I found this meal on another blogger's site and thought it looked easy and yummy. I think she called it Crescent Chicken. Anyway, all you need it 3-4 chicken breasts, can of cream of chicken soup, 1/2 cup of milk, cup of cheddar cheese and a can of crescent rolls.

Boil the chicken. Then I put them in the Cuisenart instead of chopping by hand.

Grease the bottom of your pan and lay out your crescent rolls.

Mix up your chopped chicken and cup of cheese.

Mix up you cream of chicken soup and milk.

Fill each crescent with some of your chicken/cheese mixture.

Fold over and press crescent together.

Your bundles should look like so. If you have leftover chicken/cheese mixture, I just plopped heaps of it all around the pan.

Next, pour your soup/milk mixture over the chicken bundles.

I know it looks kind of gross, but it will be yummy!

Throw in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Sing and dance while you wait.

Voila! We served it with peas. Delish!

Great reheated the next day too!

Saturday morning, we all (my brother, SIL, niece, and parents) went to our local firestation to support them. They held a delicious pancake (scrambled eggs and sausage) breakfast. Santa Claus was on hand as well. The food was really good and the kids loved eating next to the firetrucks. They also had numerous activites for the kids to do.
