Christmas Miscellaneous

The Christmas holiday is upon us once again. It is December 1st and I cannot believe we are 24 days from Christmas already. All of our Christmas shopping is done and I got the decorating done as well. The only plans left are to bake muffins for the neighbors and get a gift for a needy child.

We started out the season with bad news. Jason was layed off from his job 2 days before Thanksgiving. So frustrating, when are things going to get better? Not much we can do, but make the most of what we do have...family and friends.

I am already jotting down New Year's Resolutions (I like to think of them as goals for the New Year) I think they will all be very achievable and I am looking forward to 2010. Put 2009 behind us and all of it's bad memories.

Now onto some pictures of this year's Christmas decor. Simple, but festive.

Our tree...4 ft. We are seeking out a reasonably priced 7 ft tree, so this will have to do for now.
